A lot of preparation goes into getting a girl down the aisle, and it’s all best spent in the company of best friends.
A couple pieces of advice – set aside WAY more time than you think is necessary,
And if you’re getting married at a remote resort in southwestern Colorado, be sure one of your best friends is supremely talented with hair and willing to figure out how to transform the massive amount on top of your head into a complicated updo.
Luckily…I have just that friend and she nailed it!
All while the other lovely ladies primped, primed, and chatted the time away.
Accompanied by bottles of champagne, of course!
After just enough time, hair was done and makeup was on, meaning it was time to get dressed. But, what to wear?
Oh, I guess I’ll just throw on this old thing. Multiple pounds of crystal and tulle…perfect for a casual Saturday afternoon.
And bringing joy and excitement to those around.
The final touch…a little birdie brought me a handful of white roses, and (after hours) I was ready to go.
Meanwhile, in the library, the guys were doing a lot of this:
Drinking whiskey and wine,
And sharing old stories
A slightly easier route to the alter.
Requiring just a few finishing touches,
And a final afternoon story.
Just one step on the way to a lifetime of happiness.
What happened next? You’ll have to wait and see.
