Neal’s Favorite Photos – Arches National Park

Rounding out the Utah photos, here are several favorites from Arches National Park, one of five national parks in Utah. Located just 5 miles north of Moab, Arches is most well-known as the home of more than 2,000 natural sandstone arches, including the Delicate Arch (the one on Utah license plates).

Balanced Rock
Delicate Arch is on the left. There is a several mile hike directly to the arch…but it was over 100 degrees out! Next time!

  5. Arches is so lovely! We hiked up to the Delicate Arch for sunrise to beat the heat. It turned out to be so cold in the end. A full moon just set before the sun came up. Such splendour of nature!
