Sprinkled throughout Wenatchee and Leavenworth are some amazing wineries, serving a diverse collection of reds, whites, and roses. And we made sure to partake in all the area’s viticulture.
After spending a truly delightful morning playing at the reindeer farm (more on that here), we moseyed up the road to Eagle Creek Winery, where you can taste some really wonderful wines in unique surroundings.

The winery resembles an old barn, and the tasting area resembles a tree house.

Completely shaded by trees, you can sample a few whites and reds at cafe tables surrounded by twinkle lights while a cool breeze passes by.

When you’ve found your favorite, order up a glass and settle in for a little while. No need to leave this perfectly relaxed setting too quickly.

The next day we headed to Martin-Scott Winery, our favorite of our wine tasting experiences.
Everything about this place is welcoming, from the impeccably planted flowers, to the borders of alternating lavender plants and rose bushes.

Martin-Scott Winery sits atop a hill. The grape vines dance their way down the slope, drawing your eye towards the breathtaking views of the Columbia River below.

Sit on the patio and look out over the view, or wind your way up and down the perfectly groomed pathways between the vines. Be sure to cheers the next years’ grapes and wish them luck in bringing their vintner a good harvest.

If you’re lucky enough, Mike Scott, vintner and co-owner, will be around to share stories of his incredible recent travels and his upcoming production plans.

As time flies by, you’ll realize it’s time to let the winery’s diligent caregivers close down for the night. You’ll regrettably head on your way, filled with wonderful memories shared with new friends. The second you leave the drive, you’ll be planning your return visit.
The final stop on our list is a little different. While wine tasting alone is quite enjoyable, sometimes you need a hearty meal to keep you going. That’s where Chateau Faire Le Pont Winery come in – wine tasting accompanied by white table cloth service.

As every winery should be, the exterior is thoroughly inviting.
But the real gem is inside, where you’ll be able to taste fantastic wine and absolutely delicious food.

We really enjoyed our long weekend in Wenatchee, and vineyard hopping was an especially wine-derful experience!
Looks like a wonderful place to visit 🙂

I don’t make my own wine but I do like whipping up unusual dinners. I’ve just finished researching the foods of Roumania to assemble a menu for my evening with Dracula. It begins with an ancient Roumanian wine.Organic wine

On our trips, we make sure that there is a winery we can check out on our free time if our packed schedule allows it. We missed some wineries and are planning to revisit some of them.
