Beautiful, and the one picture of the mountain and lined up pine trees reminds me of italy for some reason. Like the sunset pictures the most.

It did feel a bit like Europe at times!

It seems like an amazing place to grow up! My next goal is to see a concert at The Wilma.

It is not difficult to see why you love this place so much, that is what I call big country with a big, big sky. I love both sunsets and skyscapes so this is a great page for me. What type of camera are you using for those shots?

It was nice to be in a place with so much room to breathe! It is a Canon Rebel.

That looks like a wonderful camera, I just looked it up. I had a DSLR ages ago (an old Konica Minolta which are not even supported in UK and possibly even Europe now) but I always use a compact nowadays as I just like the convenience of sticking it in my trousers pocket and to be honest the quality of image they produce now are a) more than enough for my limited photographic ability and b) also more than enough for internet use which is all I use it for. I am never going to blow up something to A1 size and print it.
As for the location, I fear my inner city and nicotine ridden lungs would explode if I breathed deeply there!

We really like our DSLR but it can be a lot to lug around, especially on longer hikes. Having a compact is certainly beneficial and they take great photos! Have a great day!

I really enjoy your pictures – about ten years ago – we spent 10 days in Spain . We could see Gilbralter on a clear day – the bummer to the trip was we lost our camera thus all the pictures.
Thank you for sharing – it has brought back memories.

Sounds like a great trip but a bummer about losing the pictures. I’m sure they are reasonably burned in your brain though!

Great pictures. Missoula is one of my favorite places to visit on a trek to the Columbia River Gorge and a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail. Good Food Store in Missoula is the best place to have a fresh made juice and food supplies for the road.

Very beautiful photos! I now can
‘t believe that I have never been to Montanna. I will have to fix that. Maybe in summer, 2020.

No, it’s been 22 years we’ve been wanting to go but we live so far away…perhaps soon, I hope.

Perhaps you could couple it with a trip to Glacier National Park…only about 140 miles away!

I actually think I could live in this town. I really like it here and Boise…..but I most likely will end up in Oregon or Arizona. Some place west for sure.

I love Montana. I always wanted to fly fish there. And they have great steaks! (Great spot for a carnivore type!) Lovely photos!

The fly fishing is supposed to be top-notch and I can understand why. The Clark Fork River goes right through Missoula and looks so pristine!
